A car transmission is a set of transmission devices used to coordinate the speed of the engine and the actual driving speed of the wheels, which is used to maximize the performance of the engine. Transmissions can produce different shift ratios between the engine and the wheels while the car is on the move.
There are several different gears in the transmission, and the adjustment of engine torque and speed can be achieved by combining different sizes of gears. Low torque can be exchanged for high speed, and low speed can be exchanged for high torque. By toggling the shift lever, the active gear on the intermediate shaft is switched, and the power output shaft is combined with different sizes of gear combinations, thereby changing the torque and speed of the drive wheel.
